Ingredients: High Protein Vegetarian Breakfast
- One cup of soaked black gram
- Two cups of Poha
- One onion, finely chopped
- One tomato, finely chopped
- Green chilli as per taste
- One spoonful of ginger-garlic paste
- Curry leaves
- Half teaspoon mustard seeds
- Half teaspoon cumin seeds
- Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder
- One teaspoon of coriander powder
- Red chilli powder as per taste
- Half a teaspoon of garam masala
- Lemon juice
- Green coriander
- Oil
- Salt to taste
Method:
- First of all, cook the black gram soaked overnight.
- The Poha should then be placed in a sieve and given a quick wash with water.
- To make it a little softer, let it sit for two to three minutes.
- Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds to it.
- After that, add curry leaves and green chillies.
- Now add finely chopped onion and fry it.
- Then, cook it after adding all the spices.
- Now add finely chopped tomatoes and cook till they become soft.
- Next, add the salt and cooked black grams, and stir thoroughly.
- After that, add poha.
- Mix it slowly.
- Cover it and cook on a low flame for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add lemon juice and finely chopped coriander leaves and mix.
- Serve hot black gram poha with coconut chutney or chutney of your choice.
- Additionally, you can garnish with finely chopped sev and coriander leaves.
