Ingredients: High Protein Vegetarian Breakfast

  1. One cup of soaked black gram
  2. Two cups of Poha
  3. One onion, finely chopped
  4. One tomato, finely chopped
  5. Green chilli as per taste
  6. One spoonful of ginger-garlic paste
  7. Curry leaves
  8. Half teaspoon mustard seeds
  9. Half teaspoon cumin seeds
  10. Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder
  11. One teaspoon of coriander powder
  12. Red chilli powder as per taste
  13. Half a teaspoon of garam masala
  14. Lemon juice
  15. Green coriander
  16. Oil
  17. Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First of all, cook the black gram soaked overnight.
  2. The Poha should then be placed in a sieve and given a quick wash with water.
  3. To make it a little softer, let it sit for two to three minutes.
  4. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds to it.
  5. After that, add curry leaves and green chillies.
  6. Now add finely chopped onion and fry it.
  7. Then, cook it after adding all the spices.
  8. Now add finely chopped tomatoes and cook till they become soft.
  9. Next, add the salt and cooked black grams, and stir thoroughly.
  10. After that, add poha.
  11. Mix it slowly.
  12. Cover it and cook on a low flame for 2-3 minutes.
  13. Now add lemon juice and finely chopped coriander leaves and mix.
  14. Serve hot black gram poha with coconut chutney or chutney of your choice.
  15. Additionally, you can garnish with finely chopped sev and coriander leaves.
