Ingredients:
- 1 cup semolina
- 1 cup curd
- 1/2 cup onion (finely chopped)
- 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
- 1 inch ginger (grated)
- 1/2 cup carrot (grated)
- 1/4 cup peas
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- Green coriander (finely chopped) for garnish
Make Sooji Tikka for Breakfast: Method
- To make semolina tikka, first, take semolina in a bowl and add curd to it and mix well. Keep it covered for 15-20 minutes so that the semolina absorbs the curd.
- After this, add onion, green chili, ginger, carrot, peas, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, cumin, asafoetida, and salt to the soaked semolina and mix well.
- If the batter is thick, add some water and mix. The batter should be thick enough to be shaped into Tikkis.
- Make small Tikkis from the batter with wet hands.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the Tikkas on both sides until golden brown.
