Make Restaurant-Style Nawabi Paneer: Ingredients
- 200 grams paneer (cut into cubes)
- 1/2 cup curd (fresh and full cream)
- 1/2 cup cashews (soaked)
- 2 tablespoons malai or fresh cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
- 1 small piece of ginger (grated)
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar (to balance the taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons desi ghee
- Chopped coriander and almonds-pistachios for garnish
- Salt to taste

Method:
- First of all, grind the soaked cashews with milk in a mixer and make a smooth paste.
- Heat desi ghee in a pan add ginger and green chillies and fry lightly.
- Now add cashew paste and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes till the rawness goes away.
- Now add whipped curd and keep stirring continuously so that the curd does not curdle.
- When the gravy starts thickening, add cream, white pepper powder, fennel powder, cardamom powder, garam masala, and salt.
- Now add paneer pieces and cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes.
- Add some sugar so that all the flavours get balanced and let the gravy cook for 2 more minutes.
