Ingredients: Healthy Breakfast Idea
- Gram flour – 2 cups
- Onion – 1 medium
- Tomato – 1 small
- Green chili – 1-2
- Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons
- Ginger – 1 teaspoon grated
- Salt – according to taste
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Red chili powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Water – as needed
- Oil
Method:
- Take gram flour in a large bowl. Add the ginger, turmeric, red and green chilies, tomato, onion, and coriander leaves.
- To make the batter thick, gradually add water.
- Now heat a non-stick pan on medium flame. Put some oil in the pan and spread it.
- Now pour a ladle of gram flour mixture on the pan and spread it in a round shape.
- Coat the edges with oil and cook for two to three minutes.
- Flip the chilla and thoroughly cook the second side once the first side turns golden. The chilla will be ready.
- Gram flour chilla can be served with curd, tomato chutney or coriander-mint chutney. You can also eat it with tea.
