Make Smashed Potato Chaat: Ingredients
- 2-3 medium-sized boiled potatoes
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 green chilli, finely chopped (according to taste)
- 1/4 cup boiled chickpeas or peas (optional)
- 2 tablespoons curd
- 1 teaspoon tamarind chutney
- 1/2 teaspoon green chutney (mint-coriander)
- 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder (according to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
- Pinch of black salt
- Finely chopped coriander leaves, for garnishing
- Fine, Sev, for garnishing
Method:
- First of all, peel the boiled potatoes and mash them well in a bowl. If you want, you can also keep them slightly coarse.
- Add finely chopped onion, green chilli, and boiled chickpeas or peas (if using) to the mashed potatoes.
- Now add red chilli powder, cumin powder, and black salt and mix well. You can adjust the amount of spices as per your taste.
- Pour curd, tamarind chutney and green chutney over the prepared mixture. You can adjust the amount of chutney as per your liking.
- Finally, garnish the chaat with finely chopped coriander leaves and fine sev.
