Healthy Fruit Custard Recipe: Ingredients

  1. Half a kilo of milk
  2. Custard powder (vanilla flavor), two tablespoons
  3. Sugar according to taste
  4. Soak saffron threads in a little hot milk
  5. Cardamom powder
  6. Fruits finely chopped as per your choice
  7. Dry fruits for garnish

Method:

  1. First of all, add custard powder to two to three tablespoons of cold milk and mix well, and keep aside.
  2. Now heat the remaining milk in a thick-bottomed pan.
  3. Now, when the milk boils, add sugar and mix till the sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Add soaked saffron and cardamom powder to it.
  5. After this, slowly add the custard powder solution to the milk.
  6. Keep stirring it continuously.
  7. Cook the custard on a low flame for two minutes.
  8. Do not thicken the milk too much.
  9. Now turn off the gas and let the custard cool completely.
  10. After the custard cools completely, keep it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  11. After this, whenever you want to serve, add chopped fruits to the cold custard.
  12. If you mix the fruits in advance, they may become soft or the bananas may turn black.
  13. Take out the custard in a serving bowl.
  14. After this, garnish it with chopped dry fruits.
  15. Fruit custard is ready.
