Healthy Fruit Custard Recipe: Ingredients
- Half a kilo of milk
- Custard powder (vanilla flavor), two tablespoons
- Sugar according to taste
- Soak saffron threads in a little hot milk
- Cardamom powder
- Fruits finely chopped as per your choice
- Dry fruits for garnish
Method:
- First of all, add custard powder to two to three tablespoons of cold milk and mix well, and keep aside.
- Now heat the remaining milk in a thick-bottomed pan.
- Now, when the milk boils, add sugar and mix till the sugar dissolves completely.
- Add soaked saffron and cardamom powder to it.
- After this, slowly add the custard powder solution to the milk.
- Keep stirring it continuously.
- Cook the custard on a low flame for two minutes.
- Do not thicken the milk too much.
- Now turn off the gas and let the custard cool completely.
- After the custard cools completely, keep it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
- After this, whenever you want to serve, add chopped fruits to the cold custard.
- If you mix the fruits in advance, they may become soft or the bananas may turn black.
- Take out the custard in a serving bowl.
- After this, garnish it with chopped dry fruits.
- Fruit custard is ready.
