Ingredients: How to Make Tawa Pizza
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup wheat flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp curd
- ½ cup onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cup capsicum, chopped
- ½ cup mushrooms, chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- Salt to taste
- ½ tsp chili flakes
- ½ tsp oregano
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp garlic, chopped
- ¼ cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup tomato puree
- ½ tsp sugar
- ½ tsp vinegar
- Salt to taste
- ½ tsp oregano
- ½ tsp chili flakes
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- Some basil leaves
- Olive oil
Method:
- First of all, in a large mixing bowl, add all-purpose flour, wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, oil, salt, and curd and mix well.
- Now add water slowly and make a soft dough. Keep in mind that the dough should be very soft, but not sticky.
- Now knead the dough well for 5-6 minutes and then cover it and keep it for 1 hour.
- On the other hand, heat oil in a pan and add onion, capsicum, mushroom, and tomato and sauté lightly.
- Now add salt, chili flakes, and oregano and mix well, and keep it in the fridge to cool.
- Heat some oil in the same pan and add garlic and onion and fry till they become light golden.
- Now add tomato puree, sugar, vinegar, salt, oregano, and chili flakes and mix well.
- Cook the sauce till its water reduces and it becomes thick.
- Divide the dough into 2-3 parts and roll it a little thicker than a chapati by lightly using a rolling pin.
- Now prick it lightly from all sides with a fork, so that it does not swell.
- Now heat a pan and place the rolled dough in it, and lightly fry it on one side.
- Now turn it over and fry it on the other side, and spread pizza sauce on top.
- Grate mozzarella cheese and spread it on top, and add the topping vegetables.
- Add some basil leaves and some more cheese on top.
- Now cover the pan and cook on a low flame until the cheese melts.
- Turn off the gas and serve hot.
