Ingredients: How to Make Tawa Pizza

  1. 1 cup all-purpose flour
  2. ½ cup wheat flour
  3. ½ tsp baking powder
  4. ¼ tsp baking soda
  5. 1 tbsp oil
  6. ½ tsp salt
  7. 2 tbsp curd
  8. ½ cup onion, thinly sliced
  9. ½ cup capsicum, chopped
  10. ½ cup mushrooms, chopped
  11. 1 tomato, chopped
  12. Salt to taste
  13. ½ tsp chili flakes
  14. ½ tsp oregano
  15. 1 tbsp oil
  16. 1 tsp garlic, chopped
  17. ¼ cup onion, chopped
  18. 1 cup tomato puree
  19. ½ tsp sugar
  20. ½ tsp vinegar
  21. Salt to taste
  22. ½ tsp oregano
  23. ½ tsp chili flakes
  24. 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  25. Some basil leaves
  26. Olive oil

Method:

  1. First of all, in a large mixing bowl, add all-purpose flour, wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, oil, salt, and curd and mix well.
  2. Now add water slowly and make a soft dough. Keep in mind that the dough should be very soft, but not sticky.
  3. Now knead the dough well for 5-6 minutes and then cover it and keep it for 1 hour.
  4. On the other hand, heat oil in a pan and add onion, capsicum, mushroom, and tomato and sauté lightly.
  5. Now add salt, chili flakes, and oregano and mix well, and keep it in the fridge to cool.
  6. Heat some oil in the same pan and add garlic and onion and fry till they become light golden.
  7. Now add tomato puree, sugar, vinegar, salt, oregano, and chili flakes and mix well.
  8. Cook the sauce till its water reduces and it becomes thick.
  9. Divide the dough into 2-3 parts and roll it a little thicker than a chapati by lightly using a rolling pin.
  10. Now prick it lightly from all sides with a fork, so that it does not swell.
  11. Now heat a pan and place the rolled dough in it, and lightly fry it on one side.
  12. Now turn it over and fry it on the other side, and spread pizza sauce on top.
  13. Grate mozzarella cheese and spread it on top, and add the topping vegetables.
  14. Add some basil leaves and some more cheese on top.
  15. Now cover the pan and cook on a low flame until the cheese melts.
  16. Turn off the gas and serve hot.
