Soft & Tasty Paneer Paratha Recipe for Kids: Ingredients

For the paratha dough:

  1. 2 cups wheat flour
  2. 1 tsp oil or ghee
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Water (for kneading)

For the paneer stuffing:

  1. 1 cup (200 gms) paneer, grated
  2. 1 small onion, finely chopped
  3. 2 green chillies, finely chopped
  4. 1/2 inch ginger, finely grated
  5. 2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
  6. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  7. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  8. 1/2 tsp dried mango powder
  9. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1 tsp oil or ghee (for mixing)

For frying:

Ghee or oil

Method:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and oil.
  2. Add water little by little while kneading the dough until it becomes soft.
  3. Keep the dough covered for 15-20 minutes to rest well.
  4. Put the grated paneer in a bowl.
  5. Add onion, green chilli, ginger, coriander leaves, cumin powder, garam masala, dried mango powder, turmeric, and salt and mix well.
  6. Now add 1 teaspoon oil or ghee and mix.
  7. Divide it into small balls.
  8. Take a small ball of dough and roll it into a round roti with the help of a rolling pin.
  9. Put paneer stuffing in the middle and cover it with dough, and roll it again with light hands.
  10. Heat a pan on gas and put paratha and fry it from both sides.
  11. Apply ghee or oil and fry well until it becomes golden and crispy.
  12. Serve hot paneer paratha with butter or ghee.
  13. Eat it with curd, pickle, mint chutney, or tomato chutney.
