- Garlic cloves – 2 cups (peeled)
- Peanuts – 1/2 cup
- Dry red chilies – 4-5 (or according to taste)
- Asafoetida – 1/4 teaspoon
- Fenugreek seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt – according to taste
- Oil – 2-3 tablespoons
Dry Garlic Chutney Recipe: Method of making dry garlic chutney
- First of all, heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic cloves and fry till golden brown. Be mindful so as not to allow to burn the garlic.
- In the same pan, add peanuts, dry red chilies, asafoetida, and fenugreek seeds and fry lightly. When the spices start giving out fragrance, turn off the flame.
- Put the roasted garlic and spices in the mixer. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt and grind coarsely. Don’t let the mixture get too fine.
- You have prepared your dry garlic chutney. Keep it in the cooler in an impenetrable holder.
