Ingredients: Masala Chicken Fry Recipe

  1. 500 grams chicken, chopped into pieces
  2. 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  3. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  4. 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  5. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 2 tablespoons oil
  9. 1 onion, finely chopped
  10. 1 tomato, finely chopped
  11. Coriander leaves, finely chopped (for garnish)
  12. A little lemon juice

Method:

  1. Put the chicken pieces in a large bowl.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, la and salt.
  3. After thoroughly mixing, let it marinate for half an hour.
  4. Heat oil in a pan.
  5. Add finely chopped onion and fry till golden brown.
  6. Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook till soft.
  7. Add marinated chicken and mix well.
  8. Cook on medium flame for 10-15 minutes or till the chicken is cooked.
  9. If required, add some water so that the masala does not burn.
  10. When the chicken is cooked, increase the flame and fry the chicken till it becomes crispy.
  11. Stir occasionally so that the chicken gets fried evenly on all sides.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves and lemon juice.
