🔪 Ingredients: Crispy & Spicy Bhindi Recipe
• 500g fresh bhindi (okra)
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 tsp cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
• 2 medium onions, finely chopped
• 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
• 1 green chilli, finely chopped
• Salt to taste
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tsp coriander powder
• ½ tsp red chilli powder
• 1 tsp garam masala
• A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
👨🍳 Method:
1. Wash and dry bhindi thoroughly—moisture makes it sticky!
2. Trim ends and chop into 1-inch pieces.
3. Fry bhindi in 1 tbsp oil until golden and crispy. Set aside.
4. In the same pan, heat the remaining oil. Add cumin and hing.
5. Sauté onions till golden, then add ginger-garlic paste and green chilli.
6. Add tomatoes and spices. Cook till oil separates.
7. Mix in fried bhindi and cook on a low flame for 4–5 minutes.
8. Finish with garam masala. Serve hot with rice or roti.
