- 2 cups poha (thick)
- 1 large onion (finely chopped)
- 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
- 8-10 curry leaves
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 1 tsp rai (mustard seeds)
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1 tsp sugar (optional)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds (for garnish – optional)

Quick Kanda Poha Recipe
- Firstly, put the poha in a sieve and wash it gently with water.
- Do not soak it in water for too long, otherwise the poha will become wet and sticky.
- After washing, keep the poha aside for 5 minutes so that it becomes soft.
- Now heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
- Add peanuts to it and fry till it becomes light brown and take it out.
- Now add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and green chilies in the same oil and let them crackle.
- Then add finely chopped onion and fry till it becomes light pink.
