Ingredients: Mango-Linseed Chutney Recipe

  1. 1 cup raw mango (grated)
  2. 2 tablespoons flax seeds
  3. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  4. 2-3 green chillies
  5. 1 teaspoon salt (according to taste)
  6. 1 pinch asafoetida
  7. 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  8. 1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
  9. 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Method: Mango-Linseed Chutney Recipe

  1. First of all, dry roast the flax seeds. Fry in medium flame for 2-3 minutes until slightly golden brown.
  2. Then let them cool down and grind them in a mixer to make a fine powder.
  3. Now, put the grated raw mango in a bowl.
  4. Add roasted flaxseed powder, cumin powder, green chillies, salt, asafoetida, and sugar to it.
  5. Mix everything well.
  6. Now add coriander leaves and lemon juice at last and mix again.
  7. Mango-flaxseed chutney is ready! Can be served with paratha, dal, rice, or roti.

Method:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chilled heavy cream, chilled sweetened condensed milk, orange juice, orange zest (if using), vanilla extract (if using), and whisk until combined.
  2. Add salt and hit until a hard chip forms. It may take 3-5 minutes with an electric mixer.
  3. Place the mixture in a freezer-safe container. Cover with plastic wrap (press directly onto the surface of the ice cream to prevent ice crystals from forming) and then cover with a lid.
  4. Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight, until it is firm enough to scoop.
  5. Let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving, so it is easier to scoop.
  6. Homemade orange ice cream is ready.
