But if it is not from outside but made at home, then peas and paneer tikki can be a perfect option. It is really simple to prepare and delicious to eat. Let’s know the recipe for making peas and paneer tikki.

Ingredients:

1 cup boiled peas

200 grams paneer (grated)

2 medium potatoes (boiled and mashed)

1 small onion (finely chopped)

2 green chilies (finely chopped)

1/2 inch ginger (finely chopped)

1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder

1/4 teaspoon red chili powder

2 tablespoons bread crumbs or semolina (for binding)

2 tablespoons fresh coriander (finely chopped)

Salt to taste

Oil or ghee for frying

Method:

Crush the cooked peas into a large bowl.

Add grated paneer, potato puree, chopped onions, green chili peppers, ginger, and coriander leaves.

Here, add cumin, garam masala, dried mango powder, red chili powder, and salt and mix everything well.

To make the tikki, add breadcrumbs or semolina. If it’s too soft, add some breadcrumbs. Next, make a small round tikki.

Cook a little tikki.

Now, remove the non-stick pan and heat the oil.

Place the tikki on a medium flame and cook slowly on each side until golden.

If you want to cook less oil, you can also use an air roast. Serve hot matal paneer tikki with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
