The Southern Zone of the Corporation has coordinated with the hotel and restaurant operators and announced a discount of 25 percent from 5th to 9th February after voting.
Southern Zone Corporation Deputy Commissioner Badal Kumar said that a 25 percent discount will be available on food at shops in various markets of DLF Saket Mall, Select City Walk Mall, PVR Anupam Saket as well as Arvind Marg, Malviya Nagar Market, DLF Vasant Kunj Mall, GK, Green Park, which come under the jurisdiction of the zone. 47 restaurants associated with the discount campaign
According to the Deputy Commissioner of the Corporation, for this, citizens will have to show the mark of voting ink on their finger after voting. He said that MCD is continuously working in this direction. Currently, 47 restaurants have been associated with giving discounts under the voting awareness campaign. 25% Restaurant Discount for Voters: With two days left, nominations for elections have increased
Now only two days are left for nomination for Delhi Assembly elections. In such a situation, the number of nominations is also increasing rapidly. The highest number of nominations were made till now on Wednesday.
Many famous candidates including former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his rival BJP candidate from the New Delhi area Pravesh Verma, BJP candidate from Kalkaji Ramesh Bidhuri, State Congress President Devendra Yadav from Samaypur Badli, and BJP candidate from Rohini Vijendra Gupta filed their nomination papers on Wednesday.
A total of 256 nominations were filed on Wednesday
According to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) office, a total of 256 nominations were filed on Wednesday. With this, 235 candidates have filed a total of 341 nominations so far. From Wednesday morning itself, the candidates of major political parties AAP, BJP, and Congress demonstrated their strength by holding road shows and rallies in the area before filing their nominations.
AAP’s National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal reached the AAP headquarters to file his nomination after walking for about one and a half kilometers with a large number of mothers and sisters from all over Delhi. He said that the people of Delhi will choose the politics of work this time too.
Former Cabinet Minister Satyendra Jain, Cabinet Minister Imran Hussain, and Gopal Rai along with Surendra Singh Bittu and Sahiram Pehalwan from Aam Aadmi Party filed their nominations from Tughlakabad. A total of 32 candidates from the BJP filed their nominations.
