  1. 1 cup gram flour
  2. 1 cup of ghee
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 2 cups of water

  7. 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

Method: Besan Halwa Recipe: Easy & Delicious Gram Flour Dessert

  1. First of all, soak some threads of saffron in one teaspoon of milk.
  2. Now, put 2 cups of water in a pan and let it boil. Now add sugar to it and cook on medium heat.
  3. Cook it until the syrup becomes thick.
  4. After this, heat ghee in a pan or heavy heavy-bottomed pan and add gram flour and fry it on a low flame.
  5. Keep stirring the gram flour continuously, otherwise it can burn.
  6. When the color of gram flour becomes light golden and starts smelling, then you understand that gram flour has been roasted well.
  7. Now add the prepared sugar syrup to the roasted gram flour and stir continuously, so that the knots do not become.
  8. Now add cardamom powder and saffron milk and mix well.
  9. After this, add chopped almonds and cashews and mix well.
  10. Cook the halwa on a medium flame until it starts leaving ghee and starts separating from the pan.
  11. When the pudding starts leaving the ghee, turn off the gas and garnish with dry fruits and serve.
