Egg Bhurji & Creamy Egg Sandwich Recipes: Egg Sandwich

Ingredients:

  1. 4 boiled eggs
  2. 8 slices brown bread
  3. 3/4 cup fresh cream
  4. 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  5. 1/2 chopped capsicum (green chili)
  6. Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First of all, cut the edges of all the bread slices and keep them aside.
  2. Now peel the boiled eggs and mash them in a large bowl with the help of a masher or fork.
  3. On the other hand, add fresh cream to another bowl and blend it well.
  4. Add mashed eggs, salt, black pepper powder, and chopped capsicum to the bowl of cream.
  5. Use a spoon to completely incorporate all of the ingredients.
  6. Now take a bread slice and spread this mixture well.
  7. Now cover it with a plain slice of bread.
  8. Cut it in the desired shape and enjoy the egg sandwich.

Egg Bhurji & Creamy Egg Sandwich Recipes: Egg Bhurji Sandwich

Ingredients:

  1. 2 Egg
  2. 2 Bread Slices
  3. 1 Tomato
  4. 1 Green Chili
  5. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 1/4 tsp turmeric
  7. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  8. 1 tbsp butter
  9. 1 Onion
  10. 1 Capsicum (Green Chillies)
  11. 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  12. 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  13. 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  14. 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  15. 1 tbsp olive oil
  16. 1 tbsp green chutney
  17. Salt as required

Method:

  1. Crack eggs in a bowl. Add a little salt and beat well.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add asafoetida, and cumin seeds and let them crackle for a few seconds.
  3. Now add chopped onion and green chilies and fry for a minute.
  4. Now add chopped tomatoes and capsicum and fry for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well.
  6. Now add beaten eggs to the pan and quickly mix and whisk the eggs using a spatula.
  7. Add salt as per taste and cook the scrambled eggs till they become soft.
  8. Finally, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and your egg Bhurji is now ready to be filled in the sandwich.
  9. Spread butter on a slice of bread. Spread mint chutney on the other slice. Now fill some amount of egg Bhurji in the slice to make a sandwich. If you want, you can also grill the slices and serve with chutney.
