Make Crispy Onion Kachori: Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- Oil for kneading
- Salt
- Water
- 3 medium-sized onions and finely chopped
- Fennel seeds 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
- Amchur powder, half a teaspoon
- Red chilli powder, half a teaspoon
- Turmeric one-fourth teaspoon
- Green chilli 2 finely chopped
- Ginger 1 teaspoon grated
- Gram flour 2 tablespoons
- Coriander leaves, finely chopped
Make Crispy Onion Kachori: Method
- Put flour, salt, and oil for kneading on a plate. Mix them well.
- Now add water slowly and knead a hard but soft dough.
- Keep it aside to set.
- In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil.
- Add the onions, ginger, fennel, and green chilies and cook until golden brown.
- Add the gram flour now, and cook over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the gram flour is no longer raw.
- Season with salt, turmeric, red chilli, dry mango powder, and coriander powder.
- Allow the stuffing to cool before adding the green coriander.
- After this, make small balls of dough.
- Roll each ball lightly, fill the onion stuffing in the middle, and close it.
- Now roll lightly, be careful not to make it too thin.
- Heat oil in a pan on medium flame.
- Fry the kachoris on a low flame slowly till they become golden and crispy.
- Hot onion kachori is ready.
- Serve it with green chutney or tea.
