Healthy Raw Banana Peel Curry: Ingredients
- Raw banana peels, 4 to 5 large
- The onion is finely chopped
- Tomatoes A finely chopped
- Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp.
- Finely chopped green chillies
- Cumin ½ tsp.
- Turmeric powder ½ tsp.
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder ½ tsp.
- Garam masala ½ tsp.
- Salt to taste,
- Oil 3 tbsp.
- Green Coriander
- Water
Method :
- First, wash the banana peels thoroughly.
- Now, cut off the tough parts at the top and bottom of the peels.
- Now, lightly scrape off the outer green or yellow thin layer of the peels. Mind you, do not peel completely.
- Now, cut the peels into small pieces.
- Put them in water.
- Now heat water in a pot and add sliced banana peels and a little salt, and bring to a boil.
- After that, keep these peels apart from the water.
- Now heat a pan of oil.
- Now add cumin to it.
- Next, add chopped onions and green chilies and fry until golden.
- Now add the ginger-garlic paste and fry.
- Add chopped tomatoes and let them cook.
- Now add all the spices and salt and mix well.
- Then cook them until they release the oil.
- Now add the boiled banana peels and mix so that the spices adhere well to the peels.
- Add a little water as needed.
- Cook them until they are tender.
- Garnish it with green coriander and serve hot.
- You can serve it with roti or dal rice.
