Ingredients: Tea-Time Delight

  1. 200 grams boneless chicken (boiled and finely chopped)
  2. 1 cup carrots (grated)
  3. 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  4. 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
  5. 1 tablespoon coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  6. ½ cup oats (roasted and ground)
  7. ½ cup bread crumbs
  8. 1 boiled potato (mashed)
  9. 1 tablespoon cornflour
  10. 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  11. ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
  12. ½ teaspoon chaat masala
  13. ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  14. ½ teaspoon garam masala
  15. Salt to taste
  16. 2 tablespoons oil

Method:

  1. To make it, first of all add boiled chicken, grated carrot, finely chopped onion and green chillies in a large bowl.
  2. After this, add mashed potato, oats, bread crumbs and cornflour and mix well, so that the cutlets can bind well.
  3. Now add ginger-garlic paste, black pepper, chaat masala, red chilli, garam masala, green coriander, and salt and mix well.
  4. Let it sit for 10 minutes. After this, make small round or oval-shaped cutlets from this prepared mixture.
  5. On one side, heat some oil in a pan and wrap bread crumbs on the prepared cutlet and put it in the pan and shallow fry on low flame till it becomes golden and crispy from both sides.
  6. After frying well, serve them hot with coriander-mint chutney or tomato sauce and tea.
