Ingredients:

  1. 4 glasses of cold milk

  4. 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  5. 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
  6. 1 tablespoon watermelon seeds
  7. 10-12 black peppercorns
  8. 5 to 6 green cardamom
  9. 8-10 cashews
  10. 1 teaspoon rose water
  11. 8-10 saffron strands soaked in hot milk
  12. 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  13. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

Method:

  1. To make thandai, soak almonds, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, melon seeds, black peppercorns, cardamom and cashews in water for 2 hours.
  2. Now add a little milk to the soaked ingredients and grind them finely.
  3. Now add the paste to cold milk and mix well, and prepare a good solution by adding sugar.
