Ingredients: Paneer Schezwan Bread Roll
For Stuffing:
- 200g paneer (grated)
- 3 tbsp Schezwan sauce
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 capsicum, finely chopped
- 2-3 green chillies, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
For Rolls:
- Bread slices (edges cut) – 8
- Water (to wet the bread)
- 2 tbsp flour + 2 tbsp water (to make slurry)
- Oil for deep frying
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and capsicum, fry for 2 minutes.
- Add green chillies, paneer, Schezwan sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Turn off the heat, add coriander, and let the stuffing cool.
- Cut the edges of bread slices and lightly sprinkle water. Roll them flat with a rolling pin.
- Place the stuffing in the center and roll tightly. Seal edges with flour-water slurry.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the rolls until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
