  1. 250 grams green chillies (fresh and thick)
  2. 2 tablespoons mustard oil
  3. 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  4. 1 tablespoon fenugreek seeds
  5. 1 tablespoon fennel
  6. 1 teaspoon asafoetida
  7. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  8. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  9. 1 teaspoon celery
  10. Salt to taste

Quick Green Chilli Pickle Recipe: Method

  1. First of all, wash the green chillies thoroughly and dry them.
  2. When the chilli dries, cut off its upper part (stalk) and separate it.
  3. Now, cut the chilli lengthwise and keep it in a bowl.
  4. After this, take a pan and heat mustard oil in it.
  5. When the oil is hot, add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, celery, and asafoetida and fry them.
  6. When the spices start smelling, add turmeric powder and mix it lightly.
  7. Now add the chopped chillies to the pan and mix well.
  8. Cook the chillies lightly for 2-3 minutes, taking care that the chillies do not overcook.
  9. Turn off the gas and add salt and lemon juice to it.
  10. After cooling, place the chiles in an airtight jar for storage. Instant chilli pickle is ready.
