- 1/2 cup milk

Almond Halwa Recipe: Method
- Soak almonds in water overnight or for 5-6 hours.
- Remove the peel of the soaked almonds and grind them coarsely in a mixer.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add almond paste to it and fry till it turns golden.
- Now add milk and sugar to it and mix well.
- Cook the halwa on low flame till it thickens.
- Keep stirring in between so that the halwa does not stick to the pan.
- When the halwa thickens, add cardamom powder and saffron and mix.
- Garnish the halwa with finely chopped dry fruits and serve hot.
