Ingredients: Restaurant-Style Mushroom Manchurian Recipe
- 200 grams of mushrooms (cleaned and cut into two parts)
- ½ cup flour
- ¼ cup cornflour
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
- ½ teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- Salt to taste
- Water (to make butter)
- Oil for frying
- 1 capsicum (finely chopped)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 green chilies (cut lengthwise)
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cornflour (dissolved in water)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons oil
- Green coriander and green onion (for garnish)

Method:
- Add flour, cornflour, red chili powder, black pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste and salt in a bowl.
- Prepare a thick batter by adding water little by little (the batter should neither be too thick nor too thin).
- Now add chopped mushrooms and coat them well.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the mushrooms till they become golden brown and crispy.
- Take out the fried mushrooms on a tissue paper so that the extra oil is removed.
- Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a pan.
- Add ginger-garlic paste to it and fry lightly.
- Now add green chillies, onions, and capsicum and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- After this, add soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, and vinegar and mix well.
- Now add ¼ cup water and add cornflour solution to it, and let the gravy thicken.
- Add salt and black pepper powder and adjust according to taste.
- Add fried mushrooms to the prepared gravy and mix gently so that they remain crispy.
- Cook for 2 minutes so that the mushrooms absorb the flavour of the gravy well.
- Now, serve hot mushroom Manchurian as a starter with green chutney or chilli sauce.
- Make Manchurian just before eating so that it does not become soggy for a long time and remains crispy.
